Data Protection
- Redundant hardware – Complete failover systems, mirrored real-time back ups, multiple discs and power supplies per server.
- Software – Systematic software development on non-critical machines, integrated testing and rollback to previous versions when necessary.
- Internal access – No access to data other than by those who actually need it, and all using only strong public-key encryption.
- External access – Dedicated non-shared hardware, no non-essential software, frequent security patching, vulnerability checking, automated attack blocking. All public connections use SSL encryption.
- Physical security – Our servers are hosted in RedBus Telecity in London docklands. The building has extreme levels of physical security, flood and fire protection, redundant network and electrical connections and cooling systems.
- Low power consumption – All our servers use low-power CPUs and solid state disks, the majority pulling a tiny 12W at idle.
- Loss of personnel – In the event of the loss of any key personnel, a copy of all access information is held in a secure location.
